Our Story

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to visit our small slice of the world.

Fighter Tribe Fitness was based on the foundation of Bethany’s recovery from advanced stage IV Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (simply put, a blood cancer). We Fight for our health. We believe that this world is a battle field against sedentary lifestyles, poor diets and quick fixes. We work to equip our clients and Coaches with truth and motivation to wage this battle daily. There isn’t a miracle quick fix that can make you skinny or give you unbelievable gains overnight. This is a battle that is fought daily in fast food restaurants, quick snacks and gyms/living rooms across this country. Our mission is to help you on YOUR JOURNEY so that you can find your way between fad diets and quick fixes to real progress of proper nutrition and exercise.

Helping others is our passion and we love to bring that passion to bear for you. All of our journeys are unique. Your goals aren’t anyone else’s but your own. We work one on one with you to find the right mix of exercise and nutrition to help you reach those goals. Along the way we want to establish deep-seated relationships with you so that you aren’t just a client, but a friend. As friends we want to motivate and help you meet the goals that we work together to layout. We’ll lay the foundation for that journey to success and be there every step of the way with you, encouraging you, motivating you and giving you the loving kick in the pants when needed. All that we ask of you is that you put in the work. This isn’t a one-way street and YOUR success requires YOUR effort.

Along the journey to fitness there is an incredible opportunity for you as well. This business has allowed both of us to pursue our passion of helping others together. We do this from home and work with friends from across the US, the UK and Canada. If you share our passion for helping others we’d love to talk to you about pursing this amazing opportunity.

2 Timothy 4:7 – “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Daughter of the King, Wife, Mom of four girls, Angel Mom, Foster Mom, Stage IV Cancer Survivor, Endometriosis Warrior. I find my passion in helping other women reach goals they didn’t believe they could.

So, a little about my own fitness journey… Before I had cancer I had no interest in fitness, but was drawn into it as I started doing triathlons after going into remission. I quickly learned to love exercising and became a fitness instructor and started teaching classes, sometimes up to 12 a week! I loved teaching, but realized after a couple of years that my own fitness level was suffering because I was loading myself down with too much and my health was suffering as well because of the stress. After talking to a friend for almost a year, I decided to give her at home workouts a try and those shakes she kept raving about that I thought really couldn’t be “all that”. Wrong! In 3.5 months I was down 32 lbs (total of 42 all together), and it had taken me over a year to lose 10 on my own…so I was hooked! I also had better overall health. At 4 months into my journey (August 2016), I underwent major surgery for a full hysterectomy which included reparation of my bladder, partial colon removal, and tedious work to remove Stage IV endometriosis from my abdomen. I went through severe depression during this time as well. I slowly started back exercising and am now back full force. I’ve been dealing with hormone deficiency and trying to get those leveled out, but regular exercise and good nutrition have saved me from some of the worst symptoms of that.

If you feel like you are stuck and don’t know what to do, and want to make a change, let me help you! Online accountability groups for ladies only provides a safe space to share your accomplishments, and your struggles, without fear of judgement from others…. We are all in it together, after all! Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
Jesus Freak, Husband, Father to four girls, Angel Dad, Foster Dad, All Around Geek and Gym Rat. I have a passion and God given call on my life to help others. I want to see you succeed in spite of yourself.

So, a little about my own fitness journey… I’m 51 and have worked out for most of my adult life. Mostly I “played” at working out, thinking I was being serious, but really didn’t make a lot of progress. I’ve always loved lifting but was never consistent to make big gains. I stayed “in shape”, but it was always a battle with food. Basically, I worked out enough to keep from getting fat. I've found that as I get older I have to be more mindful of watching my diet and what I eat as I've found that I cannot out train a bad diet. The at-home workouts have been a blessing for me as I've been able to maintain consistency in my workouts and the meal plans have kept me on point. I've been able to reach my goal of 15% bodyfat while maintaining a livable and enjoyable lifestyle.

If you feel like you are stuck and don’t know what to do, and want to make a change, let me help you! My online accountability groups for men provides a space to share your accomplishments, and your struggles, without fear of judgement from others…. We are all in this together, after all! Send me a message and let's do this thing!
